Bugs, refunds, data requests, a habit that won't behave, or an idea for the app — it all goes to the same place, and it's read by the person who wrote the code. Replies usually take a day or two.
It helps to include your device and OS version, the app version from Settings → About, and what you expected to happen instead of what did.

My tree is wilting. Did I lose anything?
No. Health is a live read of roughly your last two weeks, not a punishment and not a deletion. Your experience points, your level and your history are all untouched — the tree just looks how your fortnight went.
Complete habits again and the colour comes back on its own. Nothing needs repairing.
I completed a habit but got no experience points.
Each habit pays out once per day, permanently. If you completed it, undid it and completed it again, the second one earns nothing — that's deliberate, so points can't be farmed by toggling.
Completions made from the home screen widget also don't award points; they run outside the app. Open the app and it'll catch up.
How long does it take to reach stage 10?
About fifty days at an ordinary pace — roughly five completions a day. Faster if you keep more habits, slower if you keep fewer. The curve is tuned for someone with a normal life, not someone farming the app.
I bought Pro but the app still says I'm on Free.
Go to Settings → Restore purchases. That asks the store directly and usually fixes it in a second.
If it doesn't, check you're signed into the same App Store or Google account you bought with — subscriptions belong to the store account, not to your Habit Now account. Still stuck? Email me with the store receipt and I'll sort it.
How do I cancel Pro?
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store → profile → Payments and subscriptions.
Habit Now can't cancel it for you — only the store can. Cancelling stops the next renewal and Pro keeps working until the period you've paid for ends. Nothing is deleted afterwards: habits past the free limit go read-only rather than disappearing.
My habits didn't appear on my new phone.
Sync needs two things: Pro, and being signed into the same Habit Now account on both devices. Check Settings → Account on each.
If both look right, open the app on the old phone first and let it finish syncing before opening the new one. If it still won't move, email me — nothing is lost, it just needs unsticking.
Reminders aren't arriving.
Reminders are scheduled by your phone, so the phone has to allow them. Check notification permission for Habit Now in your system settings, and make sure Focus, Do Not Disturb or a battery-saver mode isn't holding them back.
On Android, some manufacturers aggressively suspend background apps; allowing Habit Now to run unrestricted usually settles it.
Can I use the app without an account?
Yes, and plenty of people do. Everything except cross-device sync works in guest mode, and nothing you record leaves your phone.
Delete my account and everything in it.
Email me from the address on the account and it will be erased — the account and every row belonging to it, not flagged or hidden. Deleting the app removes the local copy on your device.
Want to see what's stored before deciding? Ask, and you'll get a copy of the lot. See the privacy policy for what that includes.
I'd rather the coach didn't read my habits.
Turn it off in Settings and no summary is ever sent. The rest of Pro carries on as normal.
The privacy policy lists exactly what the coach sends and what it never sends.
Something's broken, or I have an idea.
Both are welcome at the same address. Feature requests genuinely get read — a fair bit of the app exists because somebody wrote in and was right.
